Had to change plans a bit. Got on the road with no major probs or traffic. Aside from wind, it was an uneventful trip to Skyline.
Once I got to Skyline, it got COLD. Temps were prob in the 50's. with the strong winds, it felt colder. I wound up bailing at 211 and went to Luray stopping off a outlanders.ws to get some warmer gear since I didn't bring cold weather gear. Decided to just go down 81 to
Staunton. Was still windy as all, but made for a quicker trip. Relaxing a bit and hitting the Blue Ridge Parkway in the morning.
